The route starts near the medieval town of Massa Martana. Here you can observe outcrops of large travertine counters that in historical times have been used to build both the town the beautiful bridges and substructures of the Roman Via Flaminia. The route continues uphill Martano. Some scenic stops will allow to observe the typical Umbrian landscape of farmland in hilly quotas and forests in mountainous areas. They will cross the typical Mediterranean flora here are a real natural beauty with the presence of centuries-old oak trees. Then they will reach the tops of the Martani Mountains, rich in history thanks wing presence of some forts and the abbey of San Pietro in Monte. The itinerary ends with the arrival on the top of Monte Martano (1094 m).
